ABOUT THE IMAGES
"The images 1 – 5 form part of a longer project exploring stereo-split field visions and the pineal “eye”.
The subjects are placed at close proximity and drawn to investigate the fields’ break-up from 3-D into 2-D vision.
Each image was then subjected to sun-exposure on the roof, under glass-plates and woven doylies for durations often determined by my travels around Australia (2004-2006), and, as a result, are in various stages of decay.
Image no.6 is a found-drawing by an infant selected from a discarded book- found at a council library depot.
It could easily be seen to be Eva’s cat, from the book’s short-story “Eva Is Inside Her Cat” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez."
